Channel/Banner Assets
1.0 Introduction
To standardise and to ensure design remains consistent on the Asset TV website, the central design team have created various templates that should be used when creating new banners and channels.

2.0 Home Page Leaderboard Templates
The following two Photoshop templates should be used when creating new leaderboards for the Asset TV home page. These are specifically for designing Masterclass and channel leaderboards.
Masterclass Leaderboard Download
These have been created as smart templates with colour-coded layers for ease of use. Red layers do not need to be changed and green layers will need changes; whether that be to a smart object to change an image, to a text layer, or to the hue and saturation filter to change colour.
If you require a custom banner for the home page leaderboard, please contact the design team.
3.0 Channel Banners
The following template should be used when creating a new channel banner.
This is another smart template where you just need to focus on the highlighted green layers. You do not need to worry about inserting a channel logo into this template as that’s dealt with using a different part of the CMS - see below.
4.0 Channel Logos
The following Illustrator template should be followed for creating new channel logos.
The template is self explanatory. Please do not alter the fonts or sizes in any way. Logos should be exported as white, transparent PNGs as they’re overlayed automatically onto the channel banner by the CMS.
5.0 Channel Directory
The following Photoshop templates should be used when creating images for the channel directory. The first is for a standard Asset TV channel, and the other is for a featured company channel.
Channel Directory - Featured Company Template
These are smart templates where you just need to focus on amending the layers highlighted in green.
The channel directory template should always use the same design as the main channel’s banner. Usually this is just a resized version of the banner with the channel logo inserted centrally.
Never change the background colour of the featured company directory template as this needs to be universal across the entire directory for design consistency. Please always use a full-colour company logo as a PNG. If you can’t find a PNG, use a JPEG and use Photoshop’s ‘multiply’ overlay filter to automatically remove the white background.
